A complete collection of original machinery used until a few years ago for the various phases of silk work. It is possible to follow the trip of the silk thread from the egg from which the silkworms come to the pressing of the thread, from the creation of the fabric to the printing, to finally arrive at the finishing. Open Tuesday to Friday from 10.00 to 18.00. On Saturday from 10.00 to 13.00. Sundays and holidays by reservation for groups.

The Civiche Raccolte d'Arte (Civic Art Collections) are exhibited in the areas of the ex-art gallery, which holds testimonies of the territory's art: from the pre-Romanesque and Romanesque to the frescoes coming from the vanished Monastero di Santa Margherita. Particularly interesting is the section dedicated to Como's Twentieth-Century painting with works ranging from Mario Radice to Carla Badiali. Open Tuesday to Sunday: 10:00 to 18:00. Closed on Mondays and the days 8, 25 and 26 December, 1 and 6 January.

The Antonio Ratti Foundation Museum is a unique multimedia museum holding a precious collection of antique fabrics with more than 400,000 exhibits ranging from Medieval textiles to velvets and brocaded silks, catalogued and able to be viewed by means of computerised files. Open Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 14.30 to 17.30.

Inside a modern sanctuary, in a panoramic position along the road to Brunate , memorabilia of the Como's great water sports are exhibited, as well as a unique collection of nativity scenes, made of marine materials.
